What is the Right Certification for Your Business?
There are numerous certifications available. Bear in mind certifications are based upon the private sector and the public sector.
The private sector means the part of the national economy that is not under direct government control. Examples for the private sector industries are automotive, retail, pharmaceutical, staffing, promotional marketing, etc. The private sector certifications are generally considered as a 3rd party certification and require a fee and the fee is generally annually.
The public sector means the part of an economy that is controlled by the government. Examples for the public sector or under government control are cities, municipalities, states, and the federal government. Fees are not generally required for the public sector certifications.
So, when deciding what certification(s) to apply for, consider who is requesting the certification(s).
